Noah's Ark

Joanna Lumley looks for Noah’s Ark, and finds lots of evidence for the Flood.

Many people have trouble understanding how animals got to distant places around the world after disembarking from Noah's Ark. While it is likely that humans transported some animals on boats, this is not the only explanation available. Somewhat ironically, Richard Dawkins reminds of this when he writes,

God's Word says that the whole globe was covered in water at the time of Noah's Flood. That means that all of the animals and their worldwide distribution has taken place within a timescale of just over 4,000 years since the Flood. How can this be?

In 1853, archaeologists found a series of 12 tablets dated to around 650 BC—the story of the hero Gilgamesh.

Many people have seen a depiction of Noah's Ark that looks like a big cartoon boat with animals bulging from its hull and giraffes sticking out of the top. Depicted like that it seems more like a fairy tale than a real historical event.

The discrepant C-14 dates provide further skepticism of the recent claim by a Hong Kong Team to have found Noahs Ark on Mt Ararat.
